Rebula 2V1 Released

Mizuno will commence the sale of three limited-edition “PASSION RED” shoes at Mizuno retailers nationwide on June 8 (Friday). The lineup consists of the “REBULA 2”, the latest model in its REBULA series, the “MORELIA Ⅱ”, and the “MORELIA NEO Ⅱ”. The “passion” of players at matches played on Russian soil will be supported by the “passion” of Mizuno’s manufacturing expressed through the colour “PASSION RED”.

“PASSION RED” boots will be worn by Mizuno Brand Ambassadors including Keisuke Honda (C.F. Pachuca, Mexico), Shinji Okazaki (Leicester City F.C., England), Maya Yoshida (Southampton F.C., England) and Chanathip Songkrasin (Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo, Thailand) who will wear “REBULA 2 VI JAPAN”, Kengo Nakamura and Ryota Oshima (Kawasaki Frontale) who will wear “MORELIA II”, and Kensuke Nagai (F.C. Tokyo) who will wear “MORELIA NEO II”.

The “REBULA 2 V1 JAPAN” has improved cushion to enhance ball touch and uses soft materials around the foot in the shoe tongue and opening to achieve an even better fit.

By creating a new design that combines the cushion materials in the “CT Frame” and the area that connects with the ball, a 10% improvement in the cushion has been achieved when the upper strikes the ball compared to the current model*1.
improved fit with use of new materials for shoe tongue and opening sections “REBULA 2” uses a “tongue band structure” that encompasses the foot at the tongue, while a suede tone material that is good around the foot is used for the opening to further improve the fit.
